Stitch Fix #5 – The Time I Actually Kept It All

Jen, my stylist, has done it again! I have come to the conclusion that she is my spirit animal, in fashionista form. For this fix I requested cute and trendy clothes to wear on our upcoming trip to New Orleans – and she did not disappoint!! When I got the notification that my fix had shipped, I headed straight to the Stitch Fix app to take a peek at what was coming my way. Take a look at these beautiful colors and prints 😍😍 Be still my shop-a-holic heart.

Let’s break these little beauties down.

Papermoon McCartney V Neck Knit Top and 41Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan

These two were born to be together. They are both SO SOFT and great to throw on in a hurry when I’m leaving the house but don’t want to look like I just rolled out of bed. My wardrobe currently consists of work outfits and sweatpants. There is no in between! Stitch Fix has been great for helping me build that cute and casual middle ground. Enter these two little lovelies. Look how cool I look! Can’t you just see me sipping coffee and enjoying some beignets?! The shirt is soft and flowy and the cardigan is super lightweight. Perfect for the big easy.

And check out that sweet deep v in the back. Ps. I just got my hair chopped off. Hello summer!!

Verdict: KEPT BOTH

Skies are Blue Delacour Crochet Inset Top

Hello love affair! This shirt came straight out of the box and onto my body so I could wear it the rest of the day. I love the color, I love the print, I love the extra pep in my step when I wear it! And check out the fun crochet details near the neckline. Swoon.

Verdict: KEPT

Pixley Yvette V-neck Dress and Diba Layna Metal Embellished Sandals

This little beauty had me at hello. As soon as I saw the picture of it on the app, I knew she had to be mine. And I was not wrong. As Jen pointed out, this dress is perfect for my bust – which is slowly shrinking after all the breastfeeding but still a force to be reckoned with. She gets me ☺️

The sandals were not something I would have picked for myself, but I think they look great with the dress! And besides, at this point it’s cheaper to keep them and receive the 25% discount than to return them. Verdict: KEPT BOTH

I don’t know if you have been keeping track, but there are 5 items and I am keeping them all! Which brings me to my next point: price. I asked my stylist to keep this fix under $200 after the discount. Again, I was not disappointed! I think my total was $179.

So what is Stitch Fix?

I’m glad you asked! Stitch Fix is an online styling service for women. You sign up for free and create a style profile and then wait for the magic to happen. Once you schedule your fix, you are charged a $20 styling fee, which will be credited to your account should you choose to keep anything from your fix. Your personal stylist reviews your style profile, checks out your Pinterest boards, and hand-selects 5 items she thinks will be perfect for you. If you love everything in your box, they give you a 25% discount.

As you can see, I am clearly a huge fan of this service. But you don’t have to believe me, you can try it for yourself! Worst case scenario: You are out the $20 styling fee. Best case scenario: You receive amazing new fashion pieces picked out just for you and delivered to your door. If you do decide to try it (and I TOTALLY think you should), click here to sign up with my referral code. At no extra cost to you, this helps me earn $25 towards my next purchase:) ENJOY!!
