I cannot help but feel overwhelmingly blessed after a weekend of parties, surrounded by people we love. On Friday, we welcomed over 50 people into our home for our Halloween Housewarming Party. After four months of waiting, hoping, and praying we finally closed on our house – 30 days later we moved in. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of broken appliances, fresh paint, and visits from friends and family. But we are home now and we couldn’t be happier.

Sunday was my first baby shower. Rory and I were greeted with many smiling faces and thoughtful gifts. It is already so clear to me that this child is incredibly loved by the people in our lives. Brad and I are painting the nursery this weekend and I can’t wait to start decorating – the nesting phase has begun!
